With the new season of Survivor: Edge Of Extinction just around the corner, I was lucky enough to gain an insight into Aubry’s mindset as she embarks on her third season of Survivor.
Here are my rapid fire “Fast 5” with one of my personal favorites, Aubry Bracco.
RYAN: After your last season, you seemed to have stepped right away from Survivor. What pulled you back to play one more time?
AUBRY: There’s a reason why athletes hang up their cleats and then head back on the field. SURVIVOR is my sport; it’s my passion and for someone who is always looking to get the most out of life, it’s an addiction too!
RYAN: Leading up to the game how are you planning on integrating yourself to your new tribe on Day 1. You come into this game with a huge reputation as one of the best to never have won.
AUBRY: There are a lot of devilish people on SURVIVOR. Sure, I may be a threat and a returning player, but isn’t it better to go with the devil you know than the devil you don’t? As a newbie, I’d want to play with a known quantity who could shield me.
RYAN: Can you use one word to describe your reaction to the 3 other returning players Joe, David and Kelley when you saw they were also on the cast?
RYAN: What have you learned about yourself having played previously? How will that change the way you play the game this time?
AUBRY: I get very intense in the game which can sometimes hide my fun side. Fun, amusement and laughter can help keep things in perspective and are essential to building tribe bonds. I want to use that part of my personality this time to connect.
RYAN: Why will the third time be the charm?
AUBRY: I’ve grown so much as a person as a result of my SURVIVOR experiences. This third time is an opportunity to put those lessons into play.
